There’s a moment – usually somewhere in the first session – when it stops being a battle and starts being something else entirely. The wind fills the sail, the board lifts and suddenly you’re moving. Really moving. And something changes.
I’ve felt it thousands of times and it never gets old. After a session on the water I don’t feel like just some guy – I feel like a windsurfer. Strong, salt-dried, tired in the best possible way. It’s part of my identity now and has been for over fifteen years.
That’s what I want to give you.
Hi, I’m Ben. I am a Windsurfer, Wavesailor and a professional Instructor. I’m the person who’s going to start you on one of the best journeys of your life, right here at Sandbanks, Poole.

Beginners
Never windsurfed before? Good — everyone starts somewhere.
I’ll have you on the water and making real progress from your very first session. Junior sessions and school holiday programmes also available. Find out how the beginner courses work.
Intermediate
You can sail independently — now let’s make it exciting. Intermediate sessions are where windsurfing really comes to life, with smaller groups, more personal coaching and conditions chosen to push your progression to the next level.
Adventure
Ready to leave the harbour? If you’re a confident intermediate sailor, we head out to the local coastal spots — Studland, Bournemouth, Kimmeridge — and introduce you to real open water sailing. This is where the journey gets seriously good.
